Batch print PDFs and drawings in one go

Add a whole set of drawings, PDFs, pictures and documents. batchprint.co.uk sorts them by sheet size, prints drawings on A3 and A4 sheets on A4, and lets you set paper, copies and stamps for each folder. Free, in your browser, and your files never leave your computer.

Sorted by sheet size

Each PDF's page size is read and it goes into the right print folder. Drawings bigger than A4 go to A3 by default, or sort by A0 to A4 if you print each size on its own printer.

A0 1189×841 · A1 841×594 · A2 594×420 · A3 420×297 · A4 297×210 mm

Scale stays honest

Print an A1 drawing on A3 and it's exactly 50%. batchprint.co.uk notes the true scale on each sheet, so 1:50 drawn reads 1:100 as printed.

Stamps, logo, issue sheet

Stamp every sheet "For construction", "Preliminary" or your own words, add your logo and the date, number the copies, and put an issue sheet listing every drawing at the front.

One print per folder

Each folder becomes one print-ready PDF, so the print dialog opens once, not once per file. Copies come out in sets or together, as you choose.

Phones and iPads too

On a phone, each folder goes to your phone's own print screen, so every page prints, not only the first.

Your files stay yours

Nothing is uploaded. batchprint.co.uk reads your files on your own device and never changes, moves or deletes them.

Questions

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. batchprint.co.uk runs in your browser and your files stay on your computer. Nothing is sent to a server.

Why does the print dialog open once for each folder?

A web page isn't allowed to send work to a printer without asking, so each folder is made into one print-ready PDF and your computer's print dialog opens once for it. The desktop app sends each folder straight to the printer you choose.

Can I print from an iPhone or iPad?

Yes. Each folder is made into one PDF and handed to your phone's own print screen, which prints every page.

A PDF has pages of different sizes. What happens?

It prints at its first page's size, and batchprint.co.uk tells you when you add it. Save each size as its own PDF to print each on its own paper.

Does it change my original files?

No. It only reads them, and makes new PDFs to print.

Who makes batchprint.co.uk?

SiteHelm, which makes construction software for British builders. It is Batch print taken out of SiteHelm so anyone can use it on its own. Its PDF editor is available on its own too, as PDF Picasso.
